Luke 6: 12

One day soon afterward Jesus went up on the mountain to pray, and he prayed to God all night.

The Gospel writers note that before every important event in Jesus' life, He would take time to go off by Himself and pray.

This time Jesus was preparing to choose His inner circle, the twelve apostles.

Make sure that all your important decisions are grounded in prayer.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your example to us in Scripture.

Thank You that we can come to You in prayer. Thank You for hearing our requests, our troubles, and our praises.

We are so grateful for the Mighty work of Your Hand in our lives. In Jesus' Name, Amen..

Thank you to everyone who e-mailed and prayed for us as we took a much needed break from sending the daily devotionals.

We are blessed to be back with you all now and pray that your time was also blessed.
