Psalm 63: 8
I lie awake thinking of you, meditating on you through the night.
How often do you lie awake at night with thoughts running through your head? Thinking about your day, troubles you have, what you need to get done, your finances, and your plans for tomorrow?
Here, David, tells God that he lies awake thinking about God!
We often say we'd like to be close to Jesus. We'd like to know His will for our lives.
Why not meditate on God and His perfect Word and will for you.
Spend your time before bed thinking on the things of God. "Meditate on" Him through the night. And then rest in knowing His heart for you.
Thank You God that we can come to You for immeasurable peace and safety.
Thank You for Your Word to us. Thank You for loving us so much.
May we meditate on You through the night and into the new day.
In Jesus' Name, Amen..
