Psalm 85: 8
I listen carefully to what God the Lord is saying,
For he speaks peace to his faithful people.
But let them not return to their foolish ways.

Do you truly "listen carefully" to what God has to say to you?
Many times we attend a church service--we listen attentively to the pastor's sermon and agree with his/her teachings. Then we walk out of church--and right back into our daily lives. We often leave those teachings, principles, and ideas in the church behind us.
God asks us to "listen carefully" when He speaks. We need to read our Bibles and take His truths with us into our day to day lives. If we fail to listen carefully and do as God instructs us--we will more than likely "return to" our "foolish ways".
Make a conscience effort to listen to God's Word; To turn your ear to His teachings; To be transformed, renewed, revived, and molded into the very character of Christ Jesus.
God's Word is so rich and full of peace and love. Allow Him to shape you into the new creation you are in Christ and return no more to our foolish ways of the past.
Thank You God for Your Word to us. May we listen to Your Word.
May we apply it to our every day life.
God, we want to have a genuine relationship with You.
We want to be daily transformed into the very likeness of Christ.
