Matthew 6: 8
Don't be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him! (NLT)
In the Old Testament account of Abraham--he was asked by God to sacrifice his long awaited son, Isaac, and at just the right moment, God provided a ram instead!
Abraham called the place this happened, "Jehovah-Jireh", which means, "The LORD Will Provide". (Genesis 22: 14 and Abraham calleth the name of that place `Jehovah-Jireh,' because it is said this day in the mount, `Jehovah doth provide.' (YLT))
God is constantly caring for His children and is seeking the best for us. This is a good reminder in times of hardship, need, and fear. We have a God who cares deeply for His children. Peter wrote that we can cast all our cares upon Jesus, because He cares for us. (1 Peter 5:7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. (NKJV))
We can turn to Him in our time of need and trust that what God promises, God will provide!
Take Him at His Word!
God, we are so grateful that You love us so very much!
Thank You for caring for us! May we truly cast all our cares upon You!
Trusting that what You say in Your Word is pure Truth! In Jesus' Name, Amen..
