Psalm 143: 8
Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning,
For I am trusting you.
Show me where to walk,
For I give myself to you.
For I am trusting you.
Show me where to walk,
For I give myself to you.
Have you ever noticed how often God mentions us spending our "mornings" in communion with Him? God wants our first fruits; our best; our full and complete attention. God wants to be first in our lives. David prays in this verse for God to show him where to walk, for he has given his whole "self" to God. Do you ask God to direct your steps each day? Do you devote your day to the Lord before it starts? Our prayer should also be as this psalm! Listen to God's Word each morning to "hear of His unfailing love" and trust Him to show you where to walk. Give your life over to Christ with each new sunrise. "Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing" Psalm 143: 10
Father, may we also live this prayerful psalm as our daily desire.
May we hear of your unfailing love each new day. We trust in You and ask that
You show us where to walk. May we truly give our complete selves to You.
In Jesus' Name, Amen..
Personal Note: I am taking a full week's time off of the computer. I will not be online in any capacity.
So please hold all e-mails until I return on the 28th of September.
Over the past months the Lord has been trying to get my attention to 'subtract' some things from my life.
I am under far too much stress and my health is suffering the conseqences. I am in real need of His rest and peace.
So it is with obedience that I take this week "fasting" from the computer, Internet, and e-mail.
Thank you for your prayers as we sit under His desire for our lives.
