Today's Scripture *June 28,2008*
Haggai 2: 8-9
The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. The future glory of this Temple will be greater than its past glory, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. And in this place I will bring peace. I, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, have spoken!”
God wanted the Temple to be rebuilt, and He had the gold & silver to do it, but He needed willing hands. God has chosen to do His work through people. He provided the resources, but willing hands must do the work. Are your hands available for God's work in the world?
Give us wiling hands, O God! Help us to listen and obey Your Words to us. May we walk in line with Your perfect will. Thank You for using us God! Us--Mere humans to do Your mighty work. In Jesus' Name, Amen..
