1 Timothy 2: 8
I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
Besides displeasing God, anger and controversy make prayer difficult.
That is why Jesus said that we should interrupt our prayers, if necessary, to make peace with others.
Matthew 5: 23-24 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
God wants us to obey Him immediately and thoroughly.
Our goal should be to have a right relationship with God and also with others.
Father God, we want to have a right relationship with You!
We want to honor You and obey You in every way!
Help us to lift holy hands to You! To walk and live in right relationship with our brothers and sisters!
We worship You and we praise You for Your Living Word!
