Today's Scripture *September 6, 2008*
Ezekiel 22: 30
“I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn't have to destroy the land, but I found no one.
When you begin praying for others, your influence expands and people are drawn to you.
Have you heard the saying "You and God are a majority" ?
But remember, you are not an island unto yourself.
Put on behavior that is becoming to the Lord Jesus Christ spreading love, showing respect, giving a sincere smile, offering a hand, or simply being available to listen leaves a lasting impression.
Our presence has an affect on children, grandchildren, spouses, neighbors, bosses, and friends.
You are the only Jesus some people will ever see! Your lifestyle of prayer will turn many from darkness to light, from Satan to God.
Be the "man or woman that stands in the gap before God".
Father God, we want to be the ones who stand in the gap for others.
Help us to put our prayer lives into practice. To be witnesses of your grace, mercy, and love.
May people see Christ living through us in our speech and in our actions.
In Jesus' Name we pray, Amen..
Have a blessed weekend friends!
In His Service,
April
