John 8:12
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
When Jesus said that He was the light of the world, it means that without Jesus this world would be dark and darkness would rule the earth. This is not what God planned for His earth .We cannot live in the darkness and we need to be in the light just like Jesus was the light. We need to walk in the path of Jesus. He is the Light of the World and the only thing that we will ever need.
Dear Lord,
Thank You for being our Light and for always being there for us.
Thank You for this week and for allowing us to be able to spend time in Your Word.
I pray that You will bless us and open our eyes and hearts to You.
