Proverbs 24: 8
A person who plans evil will get a reputation as a troublemaker.
Planning to do evil can be as wrong as doing it because what you think determines what you will do. Left unchecked wrong desires will lead to sin. God wants pure hearts, free from sin, and planning evil brings sinful thoughts into our minds. Should you say, "Then I might as well go ahead and do it because I've already planned it?" NO. You have sinned in your attitude, but you have not yet harmed other people. Stop in your tracks and ask God for forgive you and put you on a different path.
Father God, we praise You and thank You for Your Word!
Help us to have pure hearts and pure minds. May we only think of things that are pleasing unto You, Lord.
May we have thoughts that would please You. In Jesus' Name we ask for help in pursuing pure minds, Amen..
Thank you for the prayers while I was away in Ontario this past week.
I am pleased to be back home and sending the Word out to you again each day!
