Ephesians 6:7
Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.
As some of you may or may not know, I am home schooled. It is great! However,sometimes when I have to do school work that is hard I really don't want to do it. This Scripture continually reminds me why I have to do the school work that I do. I am not doing it for me but for God. When I finish an assignment I am one step closer to living my dream and God's plan for me to go to Bible College. We should all work with a goal in mind and with enthusiasm as it says in this Scripture.
When you have to wake up early in the morning to go to work are you happy ? If your boss calls you into work on your day off are you glad ? Of course not. But that's when you need to remember who you are working for... God. Don't you want to make Him happy ? Work with enthusiasm because you are working for the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
Dear Lord,
Thank You for Your word. Thank You that we can be comforted when we are working hard that we are working for You. I pray that we will work with enthusiasm and be happy as we work. Thank You for today and I pray that You will help us this week as we work to be all in it for You.
