Judges 4:4

Deborah, the wife of Lappidoth, was a prophet who was judging Israel at that time

The Bible records several women who held national leadership positions, and Deborah was an exceptional woman. Obviously she was the best person for the job, and God chose her to lead Israel. God can choose anyone to lead His people, young or old, man or woman. Don't let your prejudices get in the way of those God may have chosen to teach you, or lead you.

Thank You God for the people You put in place in our lives who lead, guide, direct, and teach us.

May we be thankful for those people regardless of their age, race, or sex. We want to do what is pleasing and good in Your sight.

May we always look to Your Word for daily direction and guidance. In Your Precious Name, Amen..
