Proverbs 20:24

The Lord directs our steps,
So why try to understand everything along the way?

We are often confused by the events around us. Some things we will never understand until years later when we look back and see how God was working. This proverb counsels us to not worry if we don't understand everything as it happens. Instead, we should trust that God knows what He is doing, even if His timing or design is not clear to us.

Psalm 37:23 The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.

God, You go before us. You know our ways. In every season, You go before us, beside us, and it is You that directs our paths. Help us Lord to lean on You and know that You are the Author of Creation. You know what You are doing and we simply need to trust in You--Knowing that You delight in every detail of our lives. In Jesus' Name, Amen..
