Ashley's Today's Scripture *March 1, 2009*

Psalm 29:1-4
  Honor the Lord, you heavenly beings;
      Honor the Lord for his glory and strength.
  Honor the Lord for the glory of his name.
      Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.
 The voice of the Lord echoes above the sea.
      The God of glory thunders.
      The Lord thunders over the mighty sea.
  The voice of the Lord is powerful;
      The voice of the Lord is majestic.

We are supposed to honor God in everything we do.
We are to honor Him for his Glory and Strength---We are to honor Him for the glory of His name.
We need to worship God for the Splendor of His holiness.
What a great God we have that He takes care of us and loves us.
This Psalm goes on to talk about what kind of God we serve. His voice is so powerful and mighty that when He speaks His words echo above the sea. The Lords voice is powerful and majestic. He is an amazing God.

Dear Lord,
Thank You for what You are doing in our lives and how You always protect us.
I pray that this week we will honor You with all lives.
In Jesus' Name We Pray
Amen
