Today's "Marriage" Scripture by Jason Hunt *March 21, 2009*
Matthew 4:1.
Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted there by the devil.
Jesus was led into the wilderness by the Spirit. We are at war here.
We are fighting for our marriages, our children, our souls.
Jesus used Scripture to stave off the enemy.
Unless we are in His word daily and can wield the Sword of Truth against the devil's attack,
We will fall under our own strength.
Who better to follow into battle than He who conquered death itself?
Lord Jesus allow us now to follow Your Spirit into the wilderness.
Teach us and instruct us with Scripture to battle the father of lies
That we could stand up under those temptations.
Guide our marriages and families Dear Lord, with the Holy Spirit.
In Jesus' name. Amen.
