Amos 1:1
This message was given to Amos, a shepherd from the town of Tekoa in Judah. He received this message in visions two years before the earthquake, when Uzziah was king of Judah and Jeroboam II, the son of Jehoash, was king of Israel.
Amos raised sheep--not a particularly "spiritual" job; yet he became a channel of God's message to others.
Your job may not cause you to feel spiritual or successful, but it is vital work if you are in the place God wants you to be.
God can work through you to do extraordinary things, no matter how ordinary your occupation.
Thank You God that You want to use us right where we are now!
You have a plan to use each of us as a vessel, unique, to doing a good work for Your Kingdom.
May we be in Your Word and seeking Your direction through prayer and fasting.
We want to be all that You have called us to be! Wherever and whenever!
