Today's "Marriage" Scripture by Jason Hunt *June 6, 2009*
1 Chronicles 16:28-29
O nations of the world, recognize the Lord,
Recognize that the Lord is glorious and strong.
Recognize that the Lord is glorious and strong.
Give to the Lord the glory he deserves!
Bring your offering and come into his presence.
Worship the Lord in all his holy splendor.

I was once taught a valuable tool in my walk with the Lord that proved effective when ever I am challenged to react in an ungodly way. Whether it be when someone cuts me off in traffic, when I have to be the first to apologize as the spiritual head, or resist the temptation to do wrong. I pray a quick prayer of thanksgiving and give it to the Lord, praying 'For your glory Lord'. God is glorious and strong. He faithfully provides the strength I need to resist temptation or fear. The more you worship, pray, & give God the glory, the stronger your ability to resist and defeat sin through Christ will become. Give God the glory in your marriage and you will have a glorious marriage.
Lord we are in awe of you, in awe of your glory and strength. Let us worship You in our day to day trials as we draw deeper into Your presence. May the words of our lips and the thoughts in our minds bring You glory.
