Today's "Marriage' Scripture *July 11, 2009*
Ephesians 1:19 - 20
I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.

I hear a lot of people today tell me 'it's hopeless', or 'he's a lost cause' ,or 'they'll never change'. In discouragement I have believed that a few times regarding different things, however, the Lord graciously proved me wrong. According to God we who believe in Him have the incredible power of the Holy Spirit. Imagine, 'the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead'. The same power that overcame death, defeated sin, vanquished the devil and lifted Christ out of a sealed tomb up to His place of honor in Heaven. As sure as those of the time thought Christ dead we often think our relationships are lost, that our loved ones will never change, that we are stuck in a hopeless situation. Only to be proven wrong by the might of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit. Remember Romans 8:31 What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?
Lord we praise You for Your faithfulness, we thank You that You alone are the Lord Almighty. Father, as we trust in Your majesty I pray You defeat discouragement, doubt, hopelessness, bitterness, and complacency. Grow our faith in Your Might as we believe and witness You restore our loved ones, our relationships and families.
In Jesus' Name.
