Prayer Request:

Ashley's Today's Scripture *May 4,2008*

John 15:4
Remain in me and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.

This Scripture is a very important Scripture because it is a key to our lives and the way we should live. We need to make sure that Christ is our source and He is who we belong to. Imagine life like this --Life is a tree. The Lord is the everlasting trunk & we are the branches of His tree. Now God wants us to be able to produce fruit on His tree and so we need to produce the fruit for Him. We as Christians need to bear the fruit of the Lord. We need to have love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, and self control.

Dear Lord,
I pray God that You will help us to bear the fruit of You in our lives. And that we will be able to follow in Your steps. I pray that You will guide us and tell us what we need as branches to flourish and to become the fruit bearing branches you designed us to be.
In Jesus' Name We Pray
Amen
