Today's Scripture *July 30, 2009*--Last devotion until mid August
John 5: 24
“I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.
Either you believe what God did at Calvary and what He said and promised to those who would believe His Son, or your don't.
If you believe, you will have hope--realizing that life doesn't end at death. It begins!
Our brief time on earth is nothing in the light of eternity, yet we live as if it's everything.
Heavenly Father, we worship and adore You. We praise You for what You did at Calvary!
We have an eternal hope because of Christ. Thank You Jesus! In Your Mighty Name, Amen..
This will be my last devotion for a few weeks time.
My family and I are in the midst of moving into our new home.
God has been speaking to me about taking a short break and focusing on my family and home. So it is with obedience that I take the 'rest' and focus on my first ministry--my family. I will be back to sending Today's Scripture in mid to late August.
Until then -- be blessed and I will 'see' you when I get back online.
Thank you for all the wonderful prayers for my family as we purchased our home and the continued prayers as we move this weekend.
We do appreciate them very much!
