Stood in the fiery flames to see Gold Paved Streets. And I'll have NO regrets to haunt me When I bow at Jesus' feet! I searched the whole world over Just digging my own endless grave.. But I found TRUE JOY in Jesus And the promises He made! I now know too much to turn back And walk, once more, earth's streets ~ ALONE! For, I know Who now walks with me... And will lead me safely Home! Now, I couldn't LIVE without Him... He's my Hope from day to day... I couldn't take a BREATH without Him, Why should I want to, anyway??? Sometimes, we just have to bow DOWN.... WAY DOWN...down to the floor... To be raised UP HIGH in Glory... In His Presence...EVER MORE! The Psalmist and King, David, so eloquently yet simply says in Psalm 57:1 (KJV) 'Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in Thee, yea, in the shadow of Thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.'
