Proverbs 18:8
Rumors are dainty morsels
That sink deep into one’s heart.
That sink deep into one’s heart.
It is hard to refuse to listen to rumors and gossip as it is to turn down a delicious dessert. Taking just one morsel or either creates a taste for more. You can resist rumors the same way a determined dieter resists candy-- never even open the box! If you don't nibble on the first bite of gossip, you cant take the second and the third!
God, we want to have clear ear gates. May we turn to You when tempted to listen or take part in gossip or rumors.
We know that we are Your children and we want the world to see the difference in us. Help us and guide us Lord as we hunger for Your righteousness and Your ways above our own. In Jesus' Name, Amen..
