Proverbs 30:17
The eye that mocks a father
And despises a mother’s instructions
Will be plucked out by ravens of the valley
And eaten by vultures.
When I was younger and I heard the word obedience, I used to think of my parents. Although obeying your parents is important it is even more important to obey God. Obedience is such an important quality that everyone needs to have in order to succeed in life. I struggle with obedience sometimes and when I don't obey-- I have problems and things do not go well.
Dear Lord,
Please help us to be obedient to You and those in authority over us. Thank You for this day God and for loving us.
