Isaiah 1: 31
The strongest among you will disappear like straw;
Their evil deeds will be the spark that sets it on fire.
They and their evil works will burn up together,
And no one will be able to put out the fire.
Their evil deeds will be the spark that sets it on fire.

And no one will be able to put out the fire.
A spark set to timber ignites a quick, devouring fire.
God compares the evil deeds of powerful people to a roaring fire that will devour them.
Our life can be destroyed quickly by a small but deadly spark of evil.
What potential "fire hazards" do you need to remove?
God, create in us a clean heart. And renew a right spirit within us.
Show us any areas in our lives that we need to surrender to You.
May we look closely at the fire hazards of evil within our own lives.
And may You remove them, in the Matchless Name of Jesus!
