Romans 8:23
And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children, including the new bodies he has promised us.
We will be resurrected with glorified bodies like the body Christ now has in heaven.
(1 Corinthians 15: 25-58) We have the "foretaste", the first installment or down payment of future glory--the Holy Spirit--as a guarantee of our resurrection life.
2 Corinthians 1:22 and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything he has promised us. ; 2 Corinthians 5:5 God himself has prepared us for this, and as a guarantee he has given us his Holy Spirit. ; Ephesians 1:14 The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.
Thank You, Jesus! Thank You for eternal life! Thank You for the new body we will have in heaven with You!
Help us to live each new day for You! With Kingdom purposes!
