Romans 8:29

For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

God's ultimate goal for us is to make us like Christ (1 John 3:2 Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. )

As we become more and more like Him, we discover our true selves, the persons we were created to be. How can we become like Christ?

By reading and heeding the Word of God (Bible), by studying His life on earth through the Gospels, by spending time in prayer, by being filled with His Spirit, and by doing His work in the world.

God, we want to become like You!

We want to become more and more like Christ, each new day.

Transform us and renew us, we pray O Lord.
