Exodus 16: 4-5

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Look, I'm going to rain down food from heaven for you. Each day the people can go out and pick up as much food as they need for that day. I will test them in this to see whether or not they will follow my instructions. On the sixth day they will gather food, and when they prepare it, there will be twice as much as usual.”

God promised to meet the Hebrews' need for food in the desert, but He decided to test their obedience.

God wanted to see if they would obey His detailed instructions.

We can learn to trust Him as our Lord only by following.

We can learn to obey Him by taking steps of obedience.

God, we love You and we want to obey You and follow You.

We trust You as our Lord & Savior. We know that You will meet all our needs.

Help us to be obedient in all things. In Jesus' Name, Amen..
