Today's Scripture *October 28,2009*

Acts 3:19-20

Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah.

When we repent, God promises not only to cleanse us of our sins but to bring spiritual refreshment.

Turning away from sin may at first seem painful because it is hard to break old habits and give up certain sins.

But God will give you a better way. As Hosea promised. (Hosea 6:3 Oh, that we might know the Lord! Let us press on to know him. He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring.” ) Do you feel a need to be refreshed?

Father God, we want to turn away from our sin and the sins in our lives.

We want a spiritual refreshment! Come and fill us with Your presence and renew us!

In the Cleansing Name of Jesus, Amen..
