1 Corinthians 10:12
If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall.
What a great warning to us from the Apostle Paul. Often when life is going well for us--we will stand strong and feel on top of the world. We must, however, be careful not to fall. It is in tough times that our faith and endurance are put to the test. Remember, your Rock is Jesus Christ. Be sure your standing upon Him!! And He will provide a firm foundation. Standing on our own two feet will cause us to fall. It's like sanding on shifting sands.
Heavenly Father, we worship You.
Thank You for Your Truth. Help us to trust You with every aspect of our lives.
May we each stand upon the Rock of our Salvation, Jesus Christ. And trust in You alone.
We praise You, Lord God. In Jesus' Name, Amen..
