2 Peter 1:19
Because of that experience, we have even greater confidence in the message proclaimed by the prophets. You must pay close attention to what they wrote, for their words are like a lamp shining in a dark place—until the Day dawns, and Christ the Morning Star shines in your hearts.
Christ is a "Morning Star", and when He returns, He will shine in HIs full glory.
Until that day we have Scripture and the Holy Spirit to illuminate it for us and guide us as we seek the Truth.
Luke 1: 78 Because of God’s tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us, ; Ephesians 5:14 for the light makes everything visible. This is why it is said, “Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light.” ; Revelation 2: 28 They will have the same authority I received from my Father, and I will also give them the morning star! ; Revelation 22: 16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this message for the churches. I am both the source of David and the heir to his throne. I am the bright morning star.”
Father, we thank You for the gift of Jesus Christ!
May Your Holy Spirit illuminate Your Word for us that we may walk in Your Light.
Thank You for Your Word! Thank You for Your tender mercies.
Give us strength of perseverance as we await the Morning Star's return!
In the Matchless Name of Jesus Christ, Amen..
