Ecclesiastes 8: 11
How wonderful to be wise,
To analyze and interpret things.
Wisdom lights up a person’s face,
Softening its harshness.
To analyze and interpret things.
Wisdom lights up a person’s face,
Softening its harshness.
Wisdom is the ability to see life from God's perspective and then to know the best course of action to take.
Most people would agree that wisdom is a valuable asset, but how can we acquire is?
Proverbs 9: 10 teaches that the fear of the Lord (respect and honor) is the beginning of wisdom.
(Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment. Proverbs 9:10)
Wisdom comes from knowing and trusting God; it is not merely the way to find God.
Knowing God will lead to understanding and then to sharing this knowledge with others.
O God, we adore thee! We love You and we are so thankful for Your Word!
How wonderful it is to have wisdom bestowed upon us by our Heavenly Father.
Help us to respect, Honor, seek, and obey You more and more each new day!
May we all seek true wisdom as we grow ever closer to You and gain more understanding and
Knowledge of Your Holy Scriptures. In Jesus' Name, Amen..
May the Lord bless you and keep you this last month of 2009!
