Matthew 5:44
But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!
This is a lesson that I think we all need to learn. When you are getting picked on, or treated unfairly the first reaction that people tend to have is revenge. They want that person to feel the same way they do. This isn't good. We need to pray for our enemies and those that persecute us. This shows these people what a real Christian is like.
Dear God,
Thank You for this day, and for our homes and our families. I pray that You will help us to be strong when we undergo persecution and trials.
Help us to remember to pray for those that hurt us and those that are our enemies.
In Jesus' Name We Pray
