Romans 6:14

Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.

Thank you Father for freedom, the freedom that only Jesus can give us. May we walk in submission to You, desiring to be holy and righteous. Revering You as we walk with You.

In Jesus' name.

Most men (and even some women) are performance driven, results oriented, appearance proud. Etc. Sometimes I feel like an Opus Dei priest . We are hard on each other as well, why do you think we feel the need to' keep up with the Jones'? Is that what God wants? A dear friend challenged me when he heard me praying, he said, "you are not a beggar!" Ouch. We must walk in the inheritance of our Father, we are princes and princesses of the King of kings. We have more freedom than anyone else on this planet. We have the freedom to make mistakes, fall, be vulnerable, take risks and even disappoint each other. Don't get me wrong, these are all painful and certainly not the goal of any God fearing, righteous hungry man but the fact remains; the Price was paid at Calvary and any of us who bow to the worlds lie that we are unworthy is calling God a liar. I NEed to represent my Savior with my head held high. Who in their right mind when they see a Christian with their head down will volunteer to join the 'punish me' club?
