2 Corinthians 6:16
And what union can there be between God’s temple and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God said: “I will live in them and walk among them. I will be their God,and they will be my people.
God's plan has always been for us to multiply and fill the earth. God gave men a desire for a woman, physically, emotionally and spiritually. That desire is what God intended to be the engine that drives men to be attractive suitors, excellent husbands and great fathers. His desire was to 'live in them and walk among them...to be our God, and us His people'.
Satan is destroying millions of families through pornography. In the U.S. Alone there is a new adult film made every 39 minutes. Young men are being poisoned by these visions of unrealistic fantasy before they even know what they want in a wife. In some cases pressuring young virgins into 'acting out' what they have seen. What happens to that daughter of God? Now she feels that is how to attract a husband? Is she turned off of men altogether? That young man continues to 'use' girls, he will never find one that meets the standards he sees in the adult movies. Never the less; his brain is now trained to reach that peak only while watching a woman be degraded. 9 out of 10 children between the ages of 8 and 16 have seen Internet porn--the reality is staggering!
Men (mostly, but some women also) are choosing porn over their wives. The potential for disunity between mom and dad increases. Children are not as secure, confident or able to grow in an environment where dad isn't loving mom. Pornography provides temptation, temptation can become an affair. 1 of 3 divorces are the result of infidelity.
2 Corinthians 6: 17-18 Therefore, come out from among unbelievers,and separate yourselves from them, says the Lord. Don't touch their filthy things,and I will welcome you. And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
Satan is destroying God's family with porn, don't let your family be the next in his trophy case. If you or someone you know looks at pornography, please get help. Tell a trusted friend. Fathers, set your eyes on your bride and check your son's computer after you take it out of his room. Put the best Internet filter on every electronic device that you have and educate, educate, educate! Pray, pray, pray! Psalm 116: 2 Because he bends down to listen,I will pray as long as I have breath!
God, we desire to be Your people. Give us distance from the filthy things of this world. Lift those who suffer in lust Lord. Bring freedom Father. Put elected officials in place whose hearts break for what breaks Yours.
