James 1:6
But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.
Having Faith in God is super important. It is one of those things, that without it you wont make it through trials and temptations. When you don't have faith in God, you are tossed in to a sea that has many waves. Everyone's sea is different. For example my sea is high school, listening to people swear, hearing people talk about drinking, smoking, and sex. Without faith in God I am tossed around and wavering from what I know is right. But with Faith in God I can stand up for what I know is the right thing and make sure that not only myself, but others, are making good decisions. What is your "sea" ?
Dear Lord,
Thank You for Your Word! Thank You for how it feeds us into being "bigger" people.
I pray that we will have faith in You, and that not only will that benefit us, but it will benefit others as well.
In Jesus' Name We Pray
