Zechariah 8:8
I will bring them home again to live safely in Jerusalem. They will be my people, and I will be faithful and just toward them as their God.
The Covenant relationship will be renewed, and the whole community will be filled with the presence of God. This promise of forgiveness and restoration extends to all God's people wherever they may be found. Always remember: You are God's special treasure!
Exodus 6:6-7 “Therefore, say to the people of Israel: ‘I am the Lord. I will free you from your oppression and will rescue you from your slavery in Egypt. I will redeem you with a powerful arm and great acts of judgment. I will claim you as my own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God who has freed you from your oppression in Egypt. ; Exodus 19:5-6 Now if you will obey me and keep my covenant, you will be my own special treasure from among all the peoples on earth; for all the earth belongs to me. And you will be my kingdom of priests, my holy nation.’ This is the message you must give to the people of Israel.” ; Exodus 29:45 Then I will live among the people of Israel and be their God, ; Leviticus 26:12 I will walk among you; I will be your God, and you will be my people. ; Deuteronomy 7:6 For you are a holy people, who belong to the Lord your God. Of all the people on earth, the Lord your God has chosen you to be his own special treasure.; Jeremiah 31: 1 “In that day,” says the Lord, “I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they will be my people. ; Jeremiah 31:33 “But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel on that day,” says the Lord. “I will put my instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
God, we worship and adore You! We are so thankful that we have been chosen by You and set apart as Your special treasures. Help us to remember that always. To write Your truth on our hearts. May others who have fallen away from You be touched and restored back to You, Lord. Thank You for Your forgiveness and restoration, Lord Jesus. We are a grateful people! Praise You Jesus! In Your Righteous Name, Amen..
