Prayer Request:

Today's Scripture *May 13, 2010*

Matthew 14:23
After sending them home, he went up into the hills by himself to pray. Night fell while he was there alone.

Seeking solitude was an important priority for Jesus. He made room in His busy schedule to be alone with the Father. Spending time with God in prayer nurtures a vital relationship with Him and equips us to meet life's challenges and struggles. Develop the discipline of spending time alone with God. It will help you grow spiritually and become more and more like Christ. And always remember--if Jesus Christ had to spend time in communion with the Father--how much more than do we need that time with God?

God, we want You to be the number One Priority in our lives. May we never put anything ahead of our time with You.
Help us to see how vital that time is with You. May our solitude with You strengthen us in every other way in our lives.
Thank You God, for desiring to spend time with Your creation. We adore and worship You. In Jesus' Name, Amen...

Be blessed!
In His Service,
April
