Today's Scripture *June 2, 2010*

Isaiah 66: 7-9
“Before the birth pains even begin,
Jerusalem gives birth to a son.
Who has ever seen anything as strange as this?
Who ever heard of such a thing?
Has a nation ever been born in a single day?
Has a country ever come forth in a mere moment?
But by the time Jerusalem’sbirth pains begin,
      Her children will be born.
Would I ever bring this nation to the point of birth
And then not deliver it?” asks the Lord.
“No! I would never keep this nation from being born,”
      Says your God.

God will not leave His work of national restoration unfinished.
In this image of birth, God shows that He will accomplish what he has promised.
It is as unstoppable as the birth of a baby. When all the pain is over, the joy begins.
Psalm 30: 5 For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.
Lord, we bless Your Holy Name!
We thank You for the privilege it is to be called children of God.
Thank You for Your promises! Thank You for never leaving Your work unfinished.
You will deliver Your people! Praise You Jesus! In Your Matchless Name, Amen..

God bless!
April
