1 Thessalonians 4: 11-12
Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before. Then people who are not Christians will respect the way you live, and you will not need to depend on others.
Christian living is more than simply loving other Christians. We must be responsible in all areas of life.
People are watching us! Our non-Christian neighbors, our co-workers and friends--all are looking at your life. All are listening to your words; are watching how you live; what you do; how you react; and what you say. You can't be effective in sharing your faith with others if they can't "see" your faith in action (James 2:14 What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don't show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone?), or if they don't respect you.
Whatever you do, do it faithfully and be a positive force in society.
Thank You, Jesus for Your Word to us today.
Help us to have an active faith! May others see Jesus in how we live our daily lives.
Help us to be effective witnesses for Your Kingdom. We worship You, Lord Jesus.
In Your Mighty Name we pray, Amen..
