Overwhelmed
It is amazing when we look at the everyday life of Jesus where He went about doing good. He came forth to proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God and along with His words came forth a demonstration from heaven to confirm His words with signs following.
�how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?� Hebrews 2:3-4
Ruby and I are working to return to our first days of walking with the Lord in the Spirit where we saw miracles on a daily basis. Yes, by His great mercy we have seen many miracles over the past 40 years but nothing like it was in the very beginning of our walk. We basically did the same thing that the church at Ephesus did in leaving our first love of walking in awe of our King.
�I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name�s sake and have not become wary. Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.� Revelations 2:2-4
We replaced our first love with making sure we had the correct doctrine and methods of bringing forth His church. The church is overrun with false apostles and prophets today. But, if we are not careful we will spend way too much time and effort on trying to judge, reprove, correct and etc. If I am reading correctly in Revelation this is what Jesus was telling the church at Ephesus.
When we first began this walk in the Spirit we had a guest speaker to the fellowship we were in that had come all the way from Seattle. He began sharing with us by telling us that he had been sent from the Lord to share a great and deep revelation of truth with us. He went on in this vein for a few minutes and then told us it could all be summed up in three words. GOD IS LOVE! Glory!
We are blessed to know that God first loved us and filled us with His love so we can love Him back and also our neighbor. If we are not careful we will wonder who our neighbor is. Bottom line it is who ever the Lord puts in our path that needs help.
It has been a joy for Ruby and I to be able to help folks like ourselves that need to lose weight. God has demonstrated His loving power in each little bottle of HCG that we send out. He truly desires our faith to be build on a demonstration of His power that works by love. If you desire to lose weight we can assure you that the Lord also desires for you to lose weight and He has promised us that He will confirm these words with signs following.
Yes, we are being overwhelmed with His love and goodness on a daily basis these days and it is a real joy for us to return to our first love without a bunch of strings attached. We look forward to working with you out of His great love and power.
