~*~ There Shall Be Wars ~*~
Dear Lord, I feel so humbled!
Dear Lord, I feel so small...
I have come to ask Your blessings
On our soldiers, one and all!

From World War One, And World War Two...
Most souls have gone on to dwell with You...
Bless them now, from above,
With Your TRUE rewards...of Eternal Love!
*****
For those who fought on Korean shores...
Though not widely acclaimed, a bloody war...
*****
For the forgotten Vet from Viet Nam
Who fought for peace in an unholy land...
We hang our heads & pray we have learned
From the disgrace we showed upon their return...
Though mistakes were made, they fought with pride
And stood fast and brave on FREEDOMS SIDE!
*****
Now, in Afghanistan and Iraq,
We pray for You to bring them safely back!
For their unselfish giving for our land,
For preservation of our freedoms ~ God hold their hands!
Stand beside them, keep them strong...
To fight this enemy who has done such wrong!
We WILL NOT forget who gave their ALL
For our great country...who answered the call!

And, Father, be with our Commander and Chief,
Make him strong in his belief...
Through tribulation and in tears
He leads us on, not showing fears.
Hated by our enemies, criticized by some...
Let him stand fast till ALL come home!
They have heard his voice, feared his command
Over there in that godless land!
Stand close by his side:
Be his leader, be his guide...
Show him Your very way,
Hear, PLEASE, O God, this that I pray!

God, bless each brave woman and brave man,
Who have fought for our freedom in a foreign land!

~For our simple, UNcommon soldiers who have put their lives on the line for us ALL...some sacrificing their ALL, so that we may remain the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave! For all who have fought; all who still fight; and all who will fight for us in the future....God surely has a special reward in heaven for each and every American Soldier!~
