The Last Days of the Last Days

“Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying ‘Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?’ And Jesus answered and said to them: ‘Take heed that no one deceives you.’” Matthew 24:3-4

Forty years ago I went to a meeting where we were told that the man sharing had the complete revelation on the book of Revelation. I probably should have gotten up and left, but out of curiosity I listened to what he had to say. Bless his heart. He couldn’t even keep his wig on straight because of the heat in the building, much less get it all straight about Revelation.

We are at least 40 years closer to His return than we were when this man shared. Jesus tells us that when Jerusalem is no longer controlled by the Gentiles the end was going to come about in that generation. A generation is 100 years in the Bible. After 2,500 years of control by Gentiles we see that Jerusalem was taken back by the Jews in 1967. We are 43 years along in this last generation.

Jesus tell us that we will see great tribulation during this time and if these days were not shortened, no flesh would be saved, but for the elect’s sake these days will be shortened. Glory! I hope this is the last day but most likely it will not be because we still have some prophecies that have not yet been fulfilled. The rapture teaching sounds good and I certainly want to be in it if it takes place and yet at the same time I want to see this thing out to the end.

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: ‘For your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.’ Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Romans 8:35-37

The heart of God is to make us all more than conquerors. Glory! Lord, cause all of us to have a heart to pursue you with all that is in us. Cause us to rise up and shine for Your glory during these last days. Yes, we cry out to You to come quickly Lord Jesus.

One of the things that we all need to embrace is being made strong both physically and spiritually. This is one of the major reasons that we are excited about helping folks get their bodies into shape so we can face what ever is headed our way. The Lord is showing us that He truly is with our program to help folks lose weight. Here is a typical letter that we received recently.

Homer, here is my praise report. My daughter and I have lost weight….In 5 days she lost 13 lbs. I lost 10 lbs. We have just started and truly appreciate your Prayers and help in providing the homeopathic HCG drops for us. We both feel great and look forward to completing the protocol. Will keep you posted. LH Praise God for this good report.

Blessings,
