Dear Jimmie,

I have just returned from 14 days in Jerusalem--at the most grave time in Israel's history.

For months I have been sounding the alarm about Iran's nuclear program, and the briefings I received during my recent days in Israel have only heightened my concerns. Iran is much closer to having working nuclear weapons than we are being told by the liberal media. They already have enough enriched uranium for at least four "dirty bombs"--low-yield radioactive devices that could contaminate Israel's major cities and kill thousands.

But they are also on the cusp of enriching uranium still further so that a nuclear warhead could be mounted on one of their Shahab-3 missiles and detonated over Israel. The technical work for the triggering and control systems is basically complete. And with Iran's recently increased centrifuge capacity at its underground Fordow facility, enriching the uranium to the level needed for a warhead could be quickly accomplished.

There is no question of the commitment of Iran's leaders to Israel's destruction. When I met with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad two years ago in New York City as your mbassador, I saw clearly in his eyes the demonic hatred for the Jewish people that drives and motivates him. Israel cannot afford to wait much longer. Time has almost run out.

It is more important than ever that we stand with Israel as the looming threat of war grows closer by the day. They urgently need us right now--and we cannot afford to ignore the pleas for help of God's Chosen People.

God has spoken an eternal promise of blessing for those who bless the children of Abraham. God has spoken an eternal promise of judgment for those who curse the children of Abraham. Today I'm asking you to be a blessing to God's Chosen People by helping us stand with Israel and complete the purchase of the Jerusalem World Center. This incredible five-story building in the Holy City will be a lasting legacy of love and a lighthouse of hope and help for the Jewish people until the Lord returns.
